Maths Day Celebrations


                                                                        National Mathematics Day Celebration | Honouring Srinivasa Ramanujan

Every year, Little Angels School proudly celebrates National Mathematics Day to commemorate the birth anniversary of the legendary Indian mathematician Srinivasa Ramanujan, whose contributions continue to inspire generations.

On 22nd December, a special assembly was conducted where students actively participated by presenting mathematical affirmations, poem recitations and article reading highlighting recent mathematical innovations and the importance of mathematics in everyday life.

The programme was graced by our Honourable Director, Swathi Ma’am, and Principal, Indumalini Ma’am, Headmistress Mrs. Y. Rama Devi who addressed the students and emphasized the vital role of mathematics in logical reasoning, problem-solving, and real-life applications.

 Classroom Activities & Student Engagement:

During the respective mathematics periods, engaging activities were organized for Classes I to IX, including: Explanation of mathematical concepts through charts and visual aids, Math games, puzzles, riddles, and hands-on activities tailored to each grade level, Collaborative learning to strengthen critical thinking and analytical skills

These interactive activities helped students understand mathematical concepts in an interesting, joyful, and stress-free manner, encouraging active participation and curiosity.

Impact of the Celebration:

Encouraged experiential and activity-based learning in line with CBSE pedagogy.

Fostered a positive attitude towards mathematics.

The celebration was informative, engaging, and inspiring, making learning mathematics a joyful experience for all our students.
