Winners of All India Essay Writing competition - conducted by Atomic Mineral Directorate for Explora
As a part of National Science Day celebrations, Atomic Mineral Directorate for Explorations and Research-Visakhapatnam has conducted All India Essay Writing competition on 02.02.2024 and All India Quiz Competition on 07.02.2024 for the Students of Classes 6 to 9 under the theme-“Science for Sustainable Life”.
The main objective was to give opportunity for Young generation to think about Science. Students of classes 6 to 9 enthusiastically participated in both the competitions.
We are delighted to announce that in All India Essay Writing competitio T. Lalitha Srinidhi of Class 7C won second prize at National Level under junior category – (Class 6 to 8) and Mohammed Ashfaaq Ali of Class 9F won third prize at Zonal Level under Senior Category – (Class-9&10) for the topic “Science for Sustainable Future”.
In All India Quiz Competition consolation prize was won by Ajitesh Patro of 8A.
Senior Scientific Officer and Incharge of AMD, Department of Atomic Energy Mr.Indrajit Patra and Principal Mrs.Y.V.Indrani Presented the Certificates and Trophies to the winners and a Token of appreciation momento was presented to the coordinator Mrs.M.V.Padmaja on 20.04.2024 (Saturday) in the school.
