National Unity Day
National Unity Day ( Rashtriya Ekta Divas) is celebrated in India every year on 31st October . This day is celebrated to mark the birth anniversary of prominent freedom fighter Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel who played a significant role in India's struggle for Independence.
This day is celebrated to :
1) Promote National Unity and Reinforce the Importance of Unity,Integrity and Security of the nation.
2) It also serves as a reminder of the diverse cultural, linguistic and regional identities that coexist in India.
On this day, students of Little Angels School from classes 1 to 10 have taken a pledge during the morning assembly to reinforce their commitment to the nation. Some students also read an article on National Unity in the assembly program
