Children's Day Celebrations 2023


Children are like buds in a garden and should be carefully and lovingly nurtured, as they are the future of the nation and the citizens of tomorrow.

Little Angels School celebrated Children’s Day on the 14th November, 2023, with great festive fervour, to commemorate the birth anniversary of Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru. The programme began with a special assembly conducted by the team of Yellow House students under the guidance of the Yellow House teachers, followed by the presentation of Merit Scholarship Awards to the toppers of Class 2 and Class 7 for the Academic year 2022-23. ‘Shanti Memorial Award’ was given to a total of 13 students from class 3 for their commendable performance in the academics in the year 2022-23. This award was initiated by Late Smt. Jhansi, ex Telugu teacher of the school. Ch. Madhavi Award was bagged by T. Shreshta of class 8D for being the academic topper in class 7. This award was initiated by Smt. Ch. Madhavi, ex-Headmistress of the school. E.Prakruthi of Class 9, the budding singer of the school was felicitated by our Chairman Sir for her commendable performance in the prestigious program Padutha Theeyaga conducted by ETV. A series of melodious songs were presented by the school choir followed by informative and inspirational speeches by the Founder & Chairman and the Directors. They also extended their children's day greetings to all the Little Angels. 

The first Prime Minister of independent India was extremely fond of children and the programme clearly depicted the spirit of the occasion to bring in a broad smile on the faces of the children. The Children's Day celebrations started 4 days prior to the main event. Children were engaged in many classroom activities. The tiny tots of kindergarten put up a spectacular Story Telling Show and enthralled everyone with their performances. Another highlight was a magic show conducted for two days by famous Magician Kommoju Srinivas for the classes 1st to 7th. He mesmerized the children with his fascinating and enchanting tricks. Finals of games were conducted for the students of classes 8th,9th and 10th. Students displayed a competitive spirit and enthralled everyone with energetic sportsmanship.

Children's Day was marked with grand splendour and fiesta as the school campus buzzed with excitement and joy as it was a day wherein fun and frolic dominated. The kindergarten students looked like vibrant butterflies, dressed in casual attire that matched with the theme colour chosen for their classroom. Various activities were conducted for the students of the primary wing and a plethora of fun & food was enjoyed by the students of secondary. Many stalls were set up for the students to enjoy to their hearts content.  A mesmerizing talent show was showcased by the students which was graced by the Chairman, Directors and the Academic heads. The participants were highly appreciated and awarded by the management. The performers left the audience pulsated with excitement. Students thoroughly enjoyed their party time. The winners of the activities were encouraged with token of appreciation. The day ended on a memorable note with the children feeling SPECIAL.
