Hindi Diwas


 

It was a bright day with festivity lingering in the air as it was the remarkable occasion of Hindi Diwas.

Hindi Diwas is celebrated to mark the day on which it was decided that Hindi would be India’s official language. It was decided by our first Prime Minister, Jawaharlal Nehru to celebrate Hindi Diwas every year on 14 September. We celebrate Hindi Diwas in the school every year. The Hindi club (Margdarshini Club) of our school organized a program on the occasion of Hindi Diwas.

The program started with a welcome speech by the students. The founder and chairman of our school Shri.M. Venu Mohan, Director Shri. M. Kranti Kiran along with the principal, Smt. Y.V. Indrani graced the occasion.

 

Students of classes 1 to 10 presented a variety of programs encouraging the importance of Hindi language.

A group of three students played feet- tapping tunes with a flute, violin and piano which the audience enjoyed greatly. Students recited Sanskrit slokas and also explained its meanings. Floral tributes was paid to Goddess Saraswati who is known as the goddess of knowledge throughout the world. Saraswati Vandana  was performed with a graceful dance performance.

The Tiny Tots of classes 1,2&3  enacted a poem and also gave a wonderful dance performance. Students of primary class presented melodious medley songs in Hindi. Students of secondary classes presented Hasya Kavi Sammelan which entertained the audience a lot.

Advertisement in Hindi was enacted by the students which was message oriented. A group of students presented a mesmerizing dance on the theme Krishna Leela.

Margdarshini club had also conducted various competitions for the students as a part of Hindi Diwas celebrations and the winners of the Competition were awarded prizes on this important day.

The Founder and Chairman of our school Shri M.Venumohan and Director Shri M.Kranti Kiran also greeted the students and teachers on the occasion of Hindi Diwas and also emphasized on the importance of the language for the students.

The program was well – executed under the guidance of the Hindi teachers.
