Teachers Day Celebrations 2023
“Tributes to an iconic thinker and erudite scholar, former President Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan on his Jayanthi. On Teachers’ Day, greetings to the entire teaching fraternity who has been playing an unparalleled role in shaping the nation by selflessly guiding millions of souls.”
Teachers Day is celebrated in Little Angels School in grandeur. The day commenced with a special assembly program conducted by the teachers. It started with lighting of the lamp, garlanding of the portrait and offering the floral tributes to the great educationalist Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan by our esteemed Founder and Chairman Shri M. Venumohan, Director Smt. Swathi, Principal Smt. Indrani, Vice Principal Smt. Indumalini, Headmistress Smt. Rama Devi, overall co-ordinators and house co-ordinators.
The morning assembly programme was hosted by the Red House teachers and it comprised of prayer, slokas, articles, speeches on Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan. Our Founder and Chairman Shri M. Venumohan delivered his valuable message by applauding and acknowledging the relentless efforts of the teachers. Director Smt. Swathi congratulated the teachers on the occasion and reminded them of the roles and responsibilities of teachers in building the nation. The Academic Heads also greeted the teachers and delivered their messages.
After the assembly, the senior students of school shouldered the responsibilities as student teachers for the day in taking up the classes with great spirit, imbibing all these long years of learning journey made them so confident in facing the children of classes 1st to 9th with ease and perfection. The students of all the classes welcomed the student teachers and were well disciplined throughout the day. It was a memorable experience for the students.
In Little Angels School, it is a tradition to felicitate the teachers who have contributed long dedicated years of service to the organisation. On 9th September, about 6 Ex-staff members were felicitated along with 15 In-service teachers who have completed the tenure of 30 years, 20 years, 15 years and 10 years of service. The day started with a prayer by music teacher Mrs. Parimala and team followed by the welcome address by the Red House Secondary Co-ordinator Mrs. Rehana Shaik. The Guest of Honour Shri M. Venumohan and the Directors, Academic Heads of both the schools were welcomed with bouquets and fruit baskets.
The felicitation programme was indeed a moment of pride for the Ex- teachers and the In-service teachers and staff who were honoured in the midst of great words of praise from their dearest colleagues. All the felicitated teachers shared their strong bond with the school and with the teaching fraternity and wished that they continue to carry the torch of LAS legacy and knowledge for many more years to come. They were presented mementos in recognition to their services.
It is the respect that we give to our beloved teachers who are the pioneers of this organization.
The management also hosted a sumptuous lunch for the teachers. It was indeed a day filled with zest and enthusiasm. The day was marked as a memorable day to the felicitated teachers and a moment of inspiration for the others. The programme was well co-ordinated and arranged by the Red House teachers.
