The National Sports day was celebrated on August 29th 2017 with lot of enthusiasm. The programme commenced with a patriotic video SALAM INDIA. Floral tribute was paid to Major. Dhyan Chand, the legendary hockey wizard of India, by the schoolfounder, Heads, Physical and health dept teachers and sports captains of the school. Speaking on the occasion the secretary and correspondent, Mr.M.Venumohan emphasized on the importance of outdoors games and its correlation with good health. He urged the students to make maximum utilization of all the sports facilities provided in the school. National and state level winners in games and sports achievements were acknowledged during this programme. Students presented articles on Major. Dhyan Chand and his contributions to the /eld of games and sports. The programme concluded with a motivating video clipping of the historic clinche of silver by P.V SINDHU at RIO Olympics, which left the audience in high spirits.
