EDUCATIONAL VISIT / FIELD TRIP FOR CLASS 8TH ClASS ON 07-01-2019
Little Angels school aims at moulding the students to face the world of tomorrow. The school has planned a field trip on 7th January,2019 for students of class 8th.
The students were taken to Andhra University to educate them about marine life and rare species of plants. They visited the ‘Department of Marine Living Resources” and the “Department of Botany”. Various specimens of marine organisms were displayed by the department . Students were given opportunity to explore various research based lab equipments like autoclave, gel electrophoresis, PH meter, Thermo cycles, Cooling certrifuge, Spectrophotometer, microtome etc. The most attractive part was the slideshow on Aquaculture, shrimp culture by scholars.
Later, students visited ‘Department of Botony’ where they have seen all the rarest species of plants preserved in “ Herbarium”. They were also taken to the botanical garden where different plant species were observed. They enthusiastically learnt the scientific names of gold detecting plant, Cocoa plant and mosquito repellent plant and many other plants.
