Patriotic group singing competitions
The music of India includes multiple varieties of Bhajans classical, folk, filmi, Indian rock and Indian pop. India’s classical music tradition, including Hindustani and Carnatic has a history developed over several years.
A bhajan literally means ‘ sharing ‘. It also refers to any song with religious theme or spiritual ideas. Patriotism or national pride is the ideology of love and devotion towards home land.
On the eve of Gandhi Jayanthi, Gandhian studies centre, Andhra University, Visakhapatnam has conducted Bhajans and Patriotic group singing competitions on 23.09.2018, in which 15 schools and colleges groups have participated, where our students of class 10th stood first in the competition. Prizes were given to the students on 2nd October. Management has congratulated the students for their performance.
