A clean India would be the best tribute India could  pay to Mahatma Gandhi  on his 150th anniversary in 2019. 

Little Angels School started this programme with great zeal and commitment

Day -1: On 01.09.2018  by taking a Swachhta Shapath.

Day-2 : Followed by a green drive in the school on 04.09.2018. NGC and Science club students educated every one regarding the importance of segregation of waste into respective green, blue, red & yellow dustbins.

Day-3: Various competitions like Painting, Essay writing, Quiz and debate were conducted to different age categories from classes 3rd to 10th.

Day-4: A demo was given in every section and class regarding how and why to clean our hands. It was very effective because peer group influence will be very successful.

Day-5: Health is wealth. Keeping this in mind children spoke on personal hygiene,  tips to take balanced diet, keep socks  & clothes  clean  and a video  was shown to 6th & 7th students on personal hygiene.

Day-6: Swachh water day was observed by conducting rally on water borne diseases in MVP colony,  sector -3, children readout slogans & precautionary steps to be away from dengue and other diseases. ECO friendly Vinayaka Chavithi was also followed to create awareness on ban on plaster of paris and coloured Ganesha Idols.

Day-7 : Swachhata School Exhibition Day.

Day-8 : Children wrote letters to their parents regarding what they have learnt in the past few days and what they want their parents to do

Day-9 : Community Service Programme.

Conclusion:  Swachhata Pakhwada has motivated young bright minds in the country towards a clean India. Children are the best stakeholders to carry forward the message and create mass awareness.
