79th Independence Day Celebrations
“Freedom flows in our veins,The spirit of India forever reigns.”
Our school celebrated the 79th Independence Day with great patriotic fervour and enthusiasm. The programme began with a warm welcome address, followed by the hoisting of the National Flag by our proud student Chief Guest Gummadi Bhavajith, the AISSE topper who secured an outstanding 490/500 in 2024–25. The celebration continued with the soulful rendition of the National Anthem by the school choir.
The Management, true to its vision of holistic development and academic excellence, once again honoured achievers. This year, the AISSE Merit Scholarship and Cash Award were presented to Gummadi Bhavajith, Maddala Lakshmi Sritha, and Upakriti Sahoo.
Adding to the pride, Mrs. Lakshmi Rajyam, a respected ex-teacher who served the school for 38 years, instituted a special cash award for AISSE toppers – a remarkable gesture of love and encouragement.
Another feather in the school’s cap was Sivakoti Kshetra, who made us proud by winning a Silver Medal in the 20th Asian Roller Skating Championships in South Korea!
Mrs. R. V. Vijaya Lakshmi, a former Hindi teacher, has instituted a merit scholarship for toppers of Classes 7, 8, and 9. This year, the recipients are T. Krishna Srikruthi, Chaitra M, and Sreshta T.
On this occasion, the Founder and Chairman, Shri. M. Venumohan addressed the gathering, motivating students to be responsible citizens and to honour freedom fighters. He congratulated the awardees and encouraged them to continue striving for excellence.
The cultural performances added colour and vibrance:
Patriotic songs by the choir filled the air with spirit.
A classical dance showcased elegance and patriotism.
Yoga asanas highlighted discipline and healthy living.
Tiny tots of Classes 1–3 beautifully depicted Unity in Diversity, inspiring patriotism.
The programme concluded with the Vote of Thanks, marking the end of a memorable celebration of freedom.
Pride, achievements, and patriotism came together to make this day unforgettable!
