On 6th September,2024, our school celebrated Eco-friendly Vinayaka Chavithi with great fervour. The festivities began with a prayer to invoke Lord Ganesha's blessings, followed by a traditional puja attended by Headmistress Mrs.Y. Rama Devi, teachers and students.
The students showcased their talent through cultural performances, including devotional singing and reading articles on the importance of eco-friendly Vinayaka, idol and Patri Puja thereby highlighting the underlying benefits of the medicinal leaves involved in it.
The program concluded with a brief yet impactful message from Headmistress Mrs. Rama Devi, who enlightened the students about the rich traditions and values associated with this festival. She also encouraged the students to adopt more eco-friendly practices, such as making their idols using mud clay, turmeric, or flour and emphasized on the importance of avoiding plastic.
