71st Independence Day Celebrations
The 71st Independence Day was celebrated very patriotically in Little Angels School. The Secretary & Correspondent, Mr.M.Venumohan, Principal CBSE, Ms. Nafeesa Begum, Vice-Principal, Mrs. V. Sharada and Primary Headmistress, Mrs. N. Indu Malini paid floral tributes to the Father of the Nation.
The student Chief Guest was K. Kartikeya of Class 10th who has scored 98.91% in the Periodic Test-1 (2017-18). He had the honour of hoisting the National Flag and in his speech he thanked the School Management for providing all facilities which is instrumental for the overall development of a child.
The Secretary & Correspondent, Mr.M.Venumohan in his message said that the sense of good conduct is very important and to develop the students as responsible citizens is the motto of the school.
On this patriotic day students showcased their singing and dance talents in a spectacular manner. Total 54 students were given cash awards and Merit Scholarship Certificates by the School Management for scoring 10/10 CGP in the AISSE (CBSE) & SSC Public Examinations - 2017. 45 students were from CBSE stream and 9 students from State Board.
Speaking on the occasion the awardees shared their nostalgic experience of their school days and were missing their wonderful school which gave excellent support for developing their oratory skills, shrugging off the fear of public speaking etc.
Mrs. R.V. Vijaya Lakshmi an Ex-Hindi Teacher has instituted an award for the toppers of 7th, 8th and 9th Class students in Hindi subject. The recipients of this award were
i) B.V. Sai Madhavi of Class 9th (2016-17)
ii) B. Krithika Sharma of Class 8th (2016-17)
iii) Lohit Patnaik of Class 7th (2016-17)
Many ex-students and parents graced the occasion.
