Parent Teacher Interaction -4 for the students of classes LKG to 9th will be conducted on 06-04-2024(Saturday) from 9 a.m. to 12 noon.

Periodic Test -1 for the students of classes 1 to 10 (2023-24) will commence from 24-07-2023

All the parents of the students of classes LKG to 10th are hereby informed that the Parent Teacher Interaction -1 for the academic year -2023-24 will be held on 19.08.23 between 9 am and 12 noon. Attendance of the parents is compulsory.

Term 1/Half-yearly Examinations/Periodic Assessment -2 for the students of classes LKG to 10th will commence from 20/09/2023.

Birth Anniversary of Shakuntala Devi

BIRTH ANNIVERSARY OF SHAKUNTALA DEVI

“Numbers have life, they are not just symbols on paper.”

Maths club ‘Dodeca’ of Little Angels School, Ukkunagaram celebrated the birth anniversary of Shakuntala Devi on November 4,2023.

The programme began with a sloka, followed by prayer and a special pledge on ‘Vigilance week’.

The highlights of the programme were an article presented on the life history of Shakuntala Devi and a dance performance by the students of classes 4 and 5.

The lyrics of the song for dance were based on overcoming the fear of Mathematics.

A number of quotes, articles and write ups on the life history, work and achievements of Mrs. Shakuntala Devi were put up on the display board.

Shakuntala Devi is popularly known as the ‘Human Calculator’. Her brilliance and superfast calculations proved her extraordinary computation skills. All the children participated enthusiastically in the programme.

The Principal addressed the students on the occasion. She conveyed her message of regular written practice in Mathematics to be perfect in the subject.

She congratulated the students and teachers for putting up a good programme.

“It is important to approach Maths only in a spirit of curiosity and discovery”.
