FIELD TRIP TO MINERAL WATER TREATMENT PLANT
Students of class 7 went on a field trip to the Mineral Water Treatment Plant located at Kurmannapalem.
Students could learn practically the different stages in the purification of water i.e from pumping of ground water till the bottling process.
Students could learn about the filtration through sand, active carbon filters, reverse osmosis, demineralisation, killing of bacteria and microorganisms by passing ultra violet rays into the water and canning of water bottles.
Students observed the different stages with curiosity. Students were accompanied by four teachers.
