INDEPENDENCE DAY CELEBRATIONS 2018


‘Nothing is more precious than independence and liberty.

In the truest sense, freedom cannot be bestowed, it must be won’.

Our school celebrated the 72nd Independence Day with great fervour, zeal and zest. The programme kicked up by paying floral tributes to the portrait of the Father of the Nation, Mahatma Gandhi.

The student Chief Guest R.Tejaswi, an all-rounder & also the topper of class 9 (2017-18) unfurled the tricolour flag and all sang in unison the National Anthem and expressed the joy of our freedom.

The Toppers of CBSE and SSC Public examinations 2018 P.Anusha and G.Thanmayi were felicitated by the school Director Smt. M.Ranganayaki to inspire them to greater heights.

Students read out articles on the significance of the day. The school choir rendered patriotic songs that charged the atmosphere with patriotic spirit.

The school Director Smt. M.Ranganayaki addressed the students and exhorted them to believe in themselves as the country needs strong youth. She also told that it is the day to reminisce the great sacrifice of the freedom fighters and the glorious past of our country.

NCC cadets were honoured with certificates for emerging victorious in various competitions conducted in the combined Annual Training in Camp- III.

The programme was rejoiced and enjoyed by all.
