REPUBLIC DAY


"Never forget the heroes who sacrificed their lives to bring up this glorious Day to India”.

       75th Republic Day was celebrated in Little Angels School with patriotic fervour & zeal. It was a historical moment of Implementation of the constitution of India.

      The programme started with welcoming the Principal Smt. Visalakshi and the student chief guest Kumari R. Hasini, the all-round achiever of class 10 on to the dais by presenting the bouquets. A prayer song was sung to spread cheer, prosperity and to pray for the unity of our country. It’s a great feeling to be an Indian.

     Floral tributes were offered to the portrait of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar-an Indian jurist, economist, social reformer and political leader who headed the committee drafting the constitution of India.

    The student chief guest Kumari R. Hasini along with Principal Smt. Visalakshi unfurled the tricolour followed by the National Anthem. It is not just a tricolour but a true symbol of identity of every Indian under the influence of which every single individual lives with dignity and respect.

Principal Smt. Visalakshi in her speech said that it was a glorious occasion and everyone should cherish the moment with pride and patriotism. She advised the students to live with dignity and respect for themselves and for the country. She appreciates and congratulated R. Hasini for having been a part and pride of today’s programme.

Student chief guest Kumari R. Hasini in her speech expressed her gratitude towards the school management for the wonderful and heart-felt opportunity to hoist the tricolour and she said that it was truly a proud moment in her life.

Students presented monologue of Rani Laxmi Bai, Bhagat Singh and Indira Gandhi on this glorious day.

Patriotic songs in Hindi and Telugu were presented by the students which mesmerized the audience with their melody and rhythm.

A special article was presented about the importance of Republic Day.

The students of Little Greens club presented conversations about protecting the environment and climatic changes in the environment as it was the day that Little Greens club was constituted in Little Angels School on 26th January,2008.

The programme concluded by proposing the vote of thanks.

“Hope peace reigns in your part of the world today and every day”.

        On the occasion of the celebration of our 75th Republic Day, let us all stand proud and pay respect to our nation.
