NATIONAL INTEGRATION DAY

Social Studies club ‘Virasat’ observed ‘National Integration Day’ on the 18th of November 2023.The day is observed to commemorate the birthday of the Country’s First Woman Prime Minister, Indira Gandhi.

As a part of the celebrations a special outdoor assembly was organized by the Virasat Club. Floral tributes were offered to the portrait of India’s First woman Prime Minister, Indira Gandhi. An article highlighting the importance of National Integration was presented in the assembly. Students took a special pledge led by Principal Smt. Visalakshi to promote communal harmony and to reaffirm our age-old traditions and faith in the values of tolerance, co-existence and brotherhood in a multi-cultural and multi-religious society.

 A musical skit showcasing the necessity of Rashtriya Ekta by bringing equality among people of different cultures, races, castes and religions was presented by the students. The skit brings the message to instill a sense of pride and promote unity amongst Indians, making them feel that we are all one.

 Principal Smt. Visalakshi in her message advised the students to resolve their differences  through discussion to enhance their emotional bonding to keep the spirit of National Unity alive .Students  should rise above all differences and bring the country forward on the path of progress and prosperity.
