NATIONAL SHORT STORY DAY

‘National Short Story Day’ was celebrated on 21st December 2022, by the English Club-Alphabet. The 21st of December being the shortest day of the year is observed as ‘National Short Story Day’ in order to draw people’s attention towards short stories and the benefits of reading them.

On this occasion a special assembly was organised by the English Club wherein an article highlighting the importance and benefits of reading stories was presented in the assembly.

Most famous short story written by Washington Irving ‘Rip Van Winkle’ was presented by secondary students. Students of the primary classes narrated the story ‘The Elephant and Friends’.
