HINDI DIWAS

                                                                     HINDI DIWAS

‘Hindi Diwas’ was celebrated by the Vangmayi club of Little Angels School, Ukkunagaram on 14th September 2022 in the school premises.

The programme was conducted in Hindi by the students.  Sloka, prayer song, pledge and thought for the day were all presented in Hindi.

A lively conversation highlighting the importance of the language was put up by the students.

A gripping poem titled ‘Hindi- Bharat ki Bindi’ on magnificence of Hindi language was a real eye-opener.

A nukkad natak (street play) detailing the need and importance of the usage and spread of the language kept the audience spell bound.

The song “Hum Hai Hindustani, Humko Hai Hindi Pyari” (We are Indians, we love Hindi) held the listeners captivated with its melodious rendition.

‘Kajri’ – ‘Lok Nritya’ – a graceful dance was also equally mesmerizing.

Another street play (Nukkad Natak) encouraging the children to use natural resources was presented by the students of primary classes.

It was an absorbing performance driving home the benefits of using natural resources.

The programme was concluded with prize distribution for the various competitions conducted on 3rd September to mark Hindi Diwas.

Principal Mrs. Visalakshi gave away the prizes to the winners of the secondary classes.

Head Mistress Mrs. Arundhati gave away the prizes to the winners of the primary classes.
