Hindi desh ki shaan hai’

Hindi Diwas which falls on 14th September was celebrated by Vaangmayi Club on 13th September in an indoor assembly, 14th September being a holiday.

On 14th September in 1949, the Constituent Assembly of India had adopted Hindi written in Devnagari script as the official language of the Republic of India.

Students of secondary school spoke about the importance of Hindi and students of primary school recited a poem on the beauty of Hindi Language. The students took a special pledge to learn and speak Hindi.

The school Principal Smt.Visalakshi addressed the students and exhorted them to learn Hindi so that they can read the vast literature written in Hindi Language.
